My latest(and probably last) Castlevania box. The last two didn't seem to be very popular, hope this one will be. Anyway, I can't decide if I like his one of Portrait of Ruin better, but I do like the way this one came out a lot.
The front is pretty good. I don't understand what is going on with the back. The Dracula pic is kind of random off on the right. You don't even fight Dracula in the game...
#5, You don't fight Dracula in every Castlevania game, but the story is still about him. That's official art from the game too, refer to my last two Castlevania boxes and you'll see my similar layout, game description to the left picture to the right.
Thanks for the comments guys, but I'm sick of even trying, I could post the best box I've ever made tomorrow and it would get overlooked by the Next Marker or DMS box, or anything even semi decent that's Nintendo related.
#6, You are definitely correct in saying that's official art for that game. I'm not so much saying it's wrong to put him in there as much as having him take up such a large part of the box.
Now as for the screenshots and the rest of the back's layout, I like that. Especially since the townspeople are such a large part of the gameplay and story. In my opinion, I would like to just see what you have on the left side rather than to have that picture of Dracula kind of cutting short the rest of the back.
As for it being in your other Castlevania boxes, I've been away from the site for quite some time, so I wouldn't have known anything about that, and therefore couldn't have said I disapproved of the layout.
I'll definitely give you props where I feel you deserve it, but I just don't like that back, sorry.
I love the front. it's gorgeous.
Authour faving you as I always seem to miss your boxes.
And am I the only one who can't get past the giant crab?
This is the only castlevania game I enjoyed enough to WANT to keep playing.
#10, Giant Enemy Crab was a bitch, that's for sure. I ended up keeping myself in a corner while I used one of the bigger weapons to reach it.
Sorry Pan, I was a bit rude with my last comment on this box. I just think that it would look better if Drac was somehow blended into the back instead of just kinda a block off to the side. I somewhat think it would be cool if Dracula was blended into the glyph instead. Maybe that's just me, though.

The back seems weird with the images on the side, It just is odd to me, but that front, I really like that front.

the back layout has actually grown on me now that I looked at it a few times. It's creative, and the flow is different and interesting.
The front is absolutely gorgeous.
