Ok, so my last Castlevania box got little to no comments or attention, so I hope this one does better(even thought the Portrait of Ruin box was a lot better I think.)

Please comment, and if you like this box check out my other one too: link

I like it, I don't think PoR was better but that one was good to.

Yes yes yes. I also thought the last one deserved more attention. My latest box also has a very contrasting fave to comment ratio :)

Gorgeous stuff. A law should be passed that this kind of imagery should always be associated with Castlevania. Ayami Kojima is one of my favorite artists, and you've done her work proud with this one.

See, okay, so you do have a similar layout, but the picture on the right isn't so obstructive. Maybe if you softened up the Dracula on the back of Order it would look better. You captured the feel of the game better than the official box in my opinion. I can't even express how much more I like this one.

same prob with the background... however, best one of the castlevania packages (imo), even though the left kojima artwork on the front is not castlevania related ;)

the text on the back is very hard to read

#9, Where did that artwork come from? I always liked that picture but didn't really think it was from Castlevania. And what do you mean by "the background is distracting"? Do you mean the back of the box, or the picture behind the characters?

#10, I could have sworn that art was from Aria of Sorrow...

#10, soma is from aria, true, but that angel with the rotting face is just one of some non castlevania images ayami kojima did. it is not related to any game. it des fit since it is the same style and artist, but it is not related to the game :)

I mean the background (that chess pattern and the bix, purple text), not the back of the package, even though the text on it is hard to read ;)

#12, I've stopped with the checker pattern on my newer boxes, and the purple text is my logo, it's much more clear when it's white or black. The Soma from this box is not from Aria, it's from the soundtrack to this game(as well as the pic on the back) I will update later taking the angel image away, since I don't like to use artwork not from the game.

I like this, but my only complaint is the font used for "Dawn of Sorrow" on the front. I don't know if you applied an effect or not, but I think it actually looks too "soft". If it was perhaps a little bolder I think it would look better. But this is already good! Great job.

Hi Pan, I actually started making a set for the castlevania portables with uniform spines myself. Was mainly working on the GBA ones but wanted to update the DS ones to all Koyama art. Our spine design is actually very similar (like yours better actually, it's nice and centered). I see you don't have a printable version of this. Can you send it? Will also send a PM. If you want to take a look at my ideas for the GBA games (NES Classic, Circle of the Moon, Harmony of Dissonance, and Aria of Sorrow) I'd be happy to share those too.
