[re: v1] | I want to play this game. Epic work as always but there's a discrepancy between the Live logo on the front and the specs on the back. Edited @ 3:18PM 05/07/09 |

[re: v1] | Am I the only one who thought the title was "Steamworks Erotica" at first? |
[re: v1] | ...I swear, if this isn't HoF by the end of the day... |

[re: v1] | This inspires me to try something Steampunk as well. I was thinking of converting the storyline I've been trying to flesh out into a Steampunk world. Congrats on the instant Masterworks! |
[re: v1] | very nice joel ;) i can honestly say i can see nothing to improve ;) |
[re: v1] | Excellent job my friend. A very minor nitpick is that your line work could be cleaned up a bit but other then that... like i said, excellent job. ^^d |
[re: v1] | Oh no! there is only one flaw!!! the template says xbox live but on the back there is no xbox live. still absolutely amazing looking though |

This box design is for a spin-off game based around one of my other custom game ideas, "Clockwork Fanatica", which you can see the box design for here: link
These game ideas take place in a Steampunk themed world were electricity doesn't exist, and technological advancements are made by way of clockworks and coal powered engines.
The line art on the front was originally created for a recent T-Shirt contest, and I thought it would look quite cool as a game box. I alterted a lot of the contrasts and colors from the original, worked with quite a few textures / filter, and even added some additional tablet work to streamline the logo with the illustration. I created the drawing on the back with the idea to depict the clockwork bodyguards, "Fanaticas", which are in this game, as well as being the basis of the previous game I made for this custom series.
I went with a brown Western / Victorian influence with many of the aesthetics for this design to strengthen the obvious Steampunk flavor of the game. The screenshots on the back are color manipulations of the game "Steambot Chronicles". Though it would probably never fly in an actual product, I intended on the games visuals being portrayed in sepia tones, sort of like how Mad World is in black and white.
Finally, the game comes with a figurine of the Fanatica bodyguard as seen in the original game idea. I created it by cutting out shapes from
various metal textures I found online, applying layer effects and filter, and some tablet work.
Geez, thank you to anyone who bothered to read all this... and thanks as always guys for checking my stuff out.
