I'm not too familiar with the Silent Hill series (to be honest I actually haven't played any of them), but the latest announcement from Konami has me interested (mostly since it's for Wii).
I wanted to do a box for the game, but didn't know if I could capture the game's style and feel. I thought since it's a horror/survival game a dark, grungy look would fit. Hope it looks good! :)

Hmm. Nice, high resolution, great presentation. I love the signature on the floor. I think the background could be a little more varied from the colors of the box. They blend together a bit too much.
Job well done, considering the amount of content that's been released so far, but it feels like you let brushes and filters do all your work for you. Good eye, though, as it gets across that SH feel pretty well. I think it could stand a bit more color, even if it's washed out. The antique photograph feel doesn't match SH very well.
Lastly, I really think that quoting anything and putting it on your box really ruins it. Why would you try to make the box look as if it's on a shelf, having been raped by corporations, rather than a well-put together piece of graphic art?

I brightened the colors andremoved the photogragh effect on the front. I also agree with you about the quotes, after uploading I realized they looked really bad. Hope this looks better, but if not I guess you could just look at Version 1. =)

That's very nice, I adore the back, even if Silent Hill games have a mmore grungy back, this is superb.

#8, I actually get some of my material from magazine scans, then I usually spend some time cleaning them up to make the best of the quality.

Looking good, I'm amazed that you got such a good result with the limited material that is available. You should feel ashamed tough, not having played a Silent Hill game is a sin.

A Silent Hill game for Wii? This does it, The Wii and The DS are officially the most Epic consoles ever.
This box is pretty bitchin' too! I love the blood stained effect you used, although I think the text on the back could stand out a bit more.
