I can't see how it could have taken you ages, if you are already using a very popular template and this official picture: link
Colorizing it wouldn't be very hard. I use Fireworks as apposed to photoshop and all you would need to do is change something like its luminosity.
Though, it does look very nice, and likely more official than most boxarts.
