I commented on your WIP, but alas I was too late...
The border is looking really bad, the picture of Link and Zelda doesn't seem to be cut out, as his sword just kind of ends, and the back looks thrown together without much thought or effort. Also "dept" is spelled wrong on the back.
The first thing I'd recommend doing, is using actual renders for the front.

I'd get rid of that border, and add some kind of background, not just black.
Finally for the back, step one would be to take a look at the backs of some official box designs, or certain artists submitted ones from this site, and come out with some kind of design you'd like to work with.
