This is really great. The only thing thats catching my eye wrong is the blue Yoshi in the background on the front. I think it's the positioning becasue it's behind the Yoshi thats in the front of the image.
I especially like how you set the renders up on the back.
Yeah, about the Yoshi on the back, one thing you could do to ease that slight problem is to match all of the color intensities (hue saturations) of those layers, such as the Yoshi, Bowser, mushroom heads, and Yoshi egg.
That way your eye wouldn't be drawn to the more intense colors on the back.
Besides that, this is awesome. I'm gonna fave it.
