#11 Suck it up and listen to harsh vocals, if you can stand even one BMTH song you have no excuse. Opeth's other albums are great, Still Life is one of the best albums ever.

I wouldn't really classify them as metalcore though, they don't have breakdowns.

#12, Why did you have to say that? Having Damnation only doesn't mean that I cannot stand the other albums because of the vocals. I will be getting either Still Life or Watershed soon, heard that they are great albums. And I only like BYTD because I like Diamonds Aren't Forever.

#28, I'd suggest Watershed if you haven't warmed up to Opeths harsh side yet, it's mostly calm stuff like Damnation with a few of their heavier tracks.
Definitely get Still Life too though, then all their other albums because they have never made a bad one.
