A collab with me and Marker for the Summer Comp hosted by TwilightMystics!
I did the back, Marker did the front! This was quite a challenge for me considering I have never played a Chrono Trigger game and I had no idea what it was about. Marker told me some basics of the game then I got on with it. There isn't alot of quality materials for these games but I think we done the best we could with the images given. And im my opinion, I think I am improving greatly at making backs =]
I think a lot more could have been done to capture the Star Wars side of the game with the images used. The image of Chrono on the front is really, really great, but the rest of the cover seems uninspired in comparison... The only SW render I see is the TIE Fighter, but that seems odd to me when I read the game description. I guess I expected more of a blend from the two titles.
As a Chronotrigger box, I would probably give a +fav, but as a combo pack, it's too one sided. Sorry. -_-;
#5 This isn't really a blend of the two titles... its just a Chrono game set in the Star Wars universe. This is more of a Chrono game than an actual full Chrono/Star Wars crossover.
Why didn't MARKER upload it? Or maybe make a different account to upload it? It seems like every time you make a collab you are always the one to get to upload it. >_O

And Marker said I could upload it. I was more than happy to let him but he insisted I did. Why does it matter anyway? We both worked extremely hard on this. Can you comment on the actual box now please?
wow this is a really impressive collaboration, my favorite part about the front is the logo, that looks wicked, and i really like the screenshots on the back... where'd you get those from?
#9 The screenshots were from a fanmade game called Chrono Resurrection but it got abandoned. I edited the screens though by sticking the characters on better backgrounds to give it a more spacey/mysterious feel.
Great, I feel the bottom of the screens could use a border, but it's still nice. Why didn't you choose to upload on the VGBACompetition account? I thought by now all boxes were supposed to be uploaded on it...?

#15 I thought that was only for the big bundle team rounds? And TwilightMystics didnt upload them even though the round had already started so I just assumed he wasn't going too.
Cerium, you do realize that all of my respect for you stems from this box basically.
Not to say that your other submissions aren't great, but. This is just faxing amazing.
I hate all Sonic boxes but this box alone makes me like you. Although I think it's weird that you used Akira Toriyama's concept art for all characters except Crono.
