You wonder why I made a Runescape boxart? I saw that a lot of people tried to make a Runescape box and failed terribly and there reason is always something like not enough material, the material didn't flow or match, whatever. I wanted to prove that if you take the time to put effort into your box and didn't reply on people to get it for you, you can make things work. I took a lot of this from the site by screen shot. I did a lot of editing to the front if you think its a wallpaper. Its not as cool as my Wanted box but I do like the way this came out. I'm proud of it and yes its Runescape but I don't give a crap. Please don't post anything about how the game is terrible my point Isn't about the game and how good it is. Hope you like it as a boxart and not as a game, thanks.
#2, Its my 360 template that I made into a 3D look but I don't give out my templates sorry. I tried that before and I never got credit even when I asked for it, but I hope you like it. Thanks for the comments and favs. I hope people can look past there dislike of the game and see it as a boxart.

Now take this and learn from it and if you need with places to find material that's ok to ask but asking people to find it and render it for you is something different. Any box can be made to look good with the right material and effort, you just have to try. I worked on this for a couple hours over like 2 weeks period so I found all the material I needed and I thought of ideas as I went. If you try to do a box in one day you will find it won't be as good as if you took more than one day.
#18, Well I took your advice. I'm working on a brand new box that has never been seen before on this site. I'm getting some help, but I'm not having everybody do the box for me. I've been working on this box since I finished my Disco Cactuar box. And I'm probably still going to be working on it for a couple days now.
Its not that I have to much pride its I don't want peoples stuff looking like mine. I worked hard on my template to have my own look and I wouldn't let someone just use it when they didn't put a single effort into the template and come out with the same look. I think everyone should make there own template. If you use a good template on a crap box then the template is more work than your box making the box the templates artists box right? If I made a car and you out on tires does that mean you made the car? I want my own look and people keep asking me for my template. Its no and always will be sorry guys. I helped Hunter with his template and I'm willing to help others. His template looks great and is different. So know when he most a box with that template the box is 100% his and he doesn't have to credit anyone. Its a good feeling to me.
Grats on HOF man! I agree about creating/using your own template. I think it really helps each of us as an artist in many different ways. First, it can give a totally different feel to your box. For example, my Sega Saturn template... everything there is made from scratch, and I think it has almost a surreal feel to it. The same is true for this box; you can tell it's not just a scan or a copy from somewhere else... it has it's own unique life.
It also helps someone to grow as an artist, from learning how to place images, look for materials, and recreate images from an existing source. It's actually kind of a great tutorial because you can look at the original box (online on in hand) and see how yours compares. I encourage everyone to attempt this.
Again, great box and I hope to see many more in the future!!
