I made this as a joke. I have also posted this in the Critiques forum as soon as I registered. This is basically something I composited using a bunch of images I downloaded from Google Image search. Using the new "Dr. Eggman" from the new PS3 Sonic The Hedgehog, the Death Star being rebuilt from Star Wars, and a few PS3 case pictures I was able to splice them together. The idea is that every game after Sonic & Knuckles just doesn't exist and this is the next game in the storyline. So Robotnik comes back, stronger than ever, with a rebuilt Death Egg. Straight up stealing the concept from The Empire Strikes Back... but then again, Sonic stole a lot from Dragon Ball Z. I made this in Photoshop CS2 and it took me about two hours. Well, tell me what you think.
Yea #4.... You're right, but a lot of things you can see in modern cartoons and games pay a lot of homage to Star Wars and DBZ.... two of the most influential works in the US and Japan. But, I think I should have put this in Unoffical... but I am a n00b here. I have some new case ideas and, after looking at others works, I think I have a better idea what people want to see up here.
I would fav, but I cant. IT'S NOT FUNNY. You should have kept it like that, in unofficial. Sorry, it's just not funny. Plus, I dont really get it. So, this is a really nice first though.
#6, I took the Death Star from Episode VI and deleted the black behind it. Then I copied the "eye" from one side to the next, added lighting to match it. Then I added the "eye ball" to both sides and put a light glown on them. Then I used a few techniques (layer: screen, selection: blend, etc.) to get the right eye to look incomplete. Then I found a spaceship 3-d texture on google and just made the mustache and nose based off sprites I had from Sonic 3. That's pretty much it. After I got that stuff I just had to blend it all together... only thing I don't understand is how my blending options got turned off when I crushed the image as a jpg. I will probably rework this case and make another sooner or later.
#7, I understand what you mean... I guess if the title was "Sonic The Hedgehog: Finally Without Tails and 800 New Characters" it would go in humor. I don't think I can change it now... but, whatever.
Thanks for your posts. I'll check here later in the week.

Really good and all but it's not funny.

Sonic paid homage to Star Wars and DBZ (I wouldn't say "a lot" though. The Death Egg and the Chaos Emeralds/Super Sonic is hardly a lot.)
