#2, Um, actually, the front isn't "just" a wallpaper. I had the render of Altair long before I had the background, and you can tell that the background is moved far over to the right compared to where it was before.
Like I said, full view and you can catch the rest of the editing.
Hunter, you usually yell at me when I complain about your boxes, so I'm just letting you know I'm prepared. I don't like it. The back is extremely plain. The blurred image really doesn't look good, and it needs some kind of background. I'm not crazy about the editing on the front, and, though you said it ruined the feel, I still think it could use screenshots. It just seems like this was a quicky.
I saw the editing as well, I don't think the box is good though. 2/5, sorry. Just doesnt feel right. Ubisoft probably didnt make this for PSP because they were in this same situation. lol
#6, Well, first of all, the image on the back came like that (blurred). Second of all, even if it didn't, I would have blurred it myself because the main focus of it is the bloodied flag with the text, NOT Altair in the background. And there is a background behind him, it's just really light. There's no point in putting anything else, it would be distracting. And besides, in the game, the assassination sequences are completely empty. There's no atmosphere. It's just you, the target, and the Animus.
Very nice. ;) I love how it looks simple at the surface... but if you look close, you can see many details, like the textures and the atomic diagrams. Oh, and making Altair blurred was the way to go. It makes your eyes shift right to the flag, which makes you want to read the text.
I can see a lot of thought that was put into this, and it's sad that everyone's complaining because it doesn't have an immediate appeal. People, you're acting like children. At least rate boxes with an artist's point of view. =P
The front has a good badass feel to it, and as soon as I saw the back, I didn't think "bland" or "no effort". I thought "original". I like the simple touch you've putten in. :]
So this is a true story:
Guy: I'm Chris Hansen, and I'm doing a show about people who make Assassin's Creed boxes.
Me: OH... Balls. >__<
So unfortunately, I had to make this as part of community service. Full view and you can catch all of my court-ordered details.
ALSO: No screens because it ruined the cinematic feel of the box. Trust me, I tried them, it looked sucky with screens.

The front is alright, but it's just a wallpaper and the back is just too plain, sadly, you can't really do anything with the back.

The front is really nice. But the back not so much. Maybe add some screen shots cause its a bit empty. But still nice.

i think you should have added screenshots above the flag. other than that, i love it.

I really like this. I disagree with all the comments made about the back being empty. I could tell what you were trying to do.
Oh yeah, here's an +author fav ;) Keep up the good work, dude (:
