Take of the thing that says War Has Changed. Doesnt look good with two texts in two diferent spots. Otherwise, BANGIN!
Also, I would put Liquid Snake on the other open spot to the left of Snake.

Looks like everyone is making MGS4 boxes recently :) Anyway... as mentioned, I put off making one as I didn't like the artwork much... so I've actually used older artwork for the front rather than the newer one where Snake looks like he's stuck in a chimney! LOL If you saw my WIP, I actually did the back first, which is very techie... but I was stuck for front... but after watching the extended first trailer a few times, I decided to do a front based on the idea of Snake been old; his last mission; and the possibility that you might get to control Raiden hence why his on the front. Anyway, it may look a little like some other boxart... but who cares :)

I noticed that on the front Raiden doesn't blend in as effectively as he could. Maybe try using a big and soft eraser to help the cause although I don't enjoy criticizing your work, it's still a masterpiece.

#14, Do you mean under Raiden's chin? Yeah.. I think I had a bit of problem with that because I grabbed Raiden off the HD trailer, and it had the subtitle text just underneath. The blend was lower but because the text was showing I removed it.. I guess I didn't soften his actual chin area. If that's what you mean, I'll redo it later.
Top, and right is off screen.. and left side...well.. I didn't render edge of Raiden, background is still visible.

OH.. thanks everyone... I love you all! LOL

Well played good sir, well played!

I just feel that Raiden's head on top of the Gekko seems random - or perhaps not well blended enough. But the rest of the box is awesome and great move to turn it more dusty/grungy! ;)

How do you make boxes 3D like that?

#20, I actually drew this in photoshop from scratch using a standard DVD cover rendered in 3D in Imandix as a base. Once I have a reasonable looking blu-ray 3D box.. whenever I create a 2D cover.. I cut the front, back, and spine sections and paste them onto the 3D box I made earlier. The front and back panels, are put into place using the perspective option in photoshop, and the spine using the Skew option. Slight 15% opacity gradient white is added to front and same on back but with black nearer spine.
Reflections are done by copying section of bottom of box for each front, back and spine, turn other way, reduced opacity to 15%, and fade out.
Disc is done with perspective mode again, then a drop shadow added. Obviously, cut a bit so it looks like it's under the case.

#21, So... what's Imandix? All I got in school is Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
