This is pretty sweet, but I think the background is unnecessary. Not saying there shouldn't be a background, but Mario at the back seems to have become to focus point, not the box.
i agree with #3, the large mario render is a bit distracting and unnecessary, but the box itself is good. the few things i don't really like about it is the emptyish red space on the front and the main logo which seems to get lost in the image and the polygons are kinda random...

Just one thing, it kinda looks like Double Dash instead of regular Mario Kart. Although they do look good on the cover. Oh well. 5/5

The front us a wallpaper. I know because it's the one I use on my computer.
