I use normal paper. I open the printable with Paint.NET and click the print button. I uncheck the text at the bottom. I believe it says "Fit picture to paper size" or something like that. With that unchecked, it should be the right size, so print it, and cut it out.

Alright, click File > Print. It should say "How do you want to print your pictures? Under the preview where it also shows "Copies of each picture: *insert numder here*", next to it is a check box that says "Fit picture to frame". Uncheck it.

Open a A4 sized document in Photoshop, Gimp, Paint.net or whatever you use. Import the printable into the project, placing it in the centre of the canvas. It shouldn't touch or go outside the egdes at all on the A4 canvas.

    Now simply print!

As its printing the printable already mounted on an A4 document, it should print the right size. It will now depend on wether the artist made the printable at the proper resolution, along with the DPI value.

Hope that helps, i usually just do that and its fine. I also have a template for printing DVD printables from Photoshop if your interested. Simply import, and resize to fit and it prints the right size. Good luck!

Nope, I get mine done at Officemax and I've used a couple of different types, 80 matte is my favorite so far.

Cool. Well I would printed mine out a while back but my mom was all like it wasted to much color ink.
