Mint condition, black label, for $20. I Couldn't resist, the person selling this is also the person I bought Resident Evil and Crash from, all the games he had were excellent prices and ALL mint, it was hard for me to leave without blowing $100.
I also have a mint condition black label FFVII copy I got for $20, though it was originally $50 before applying the $30 discount I got from my job.

Patience, as Throavium said. Approach every new area or enemy with caution, and always have your shield raised. You'll die, there's no doubt about that, but it's a learning experience. Adapting to new situations, figuring out the best equipment and strategies to use for bosses, etc. It's a very rewarding game to play. Hard, but a hell of a lot of fun.

Also, be glad that World Tendencies and health penalties were removed in the sequel.

Invaders, black phantoms, yes. You can avoid being invaded by staying in hollow form (which I think you start as) or by just playing offline.

Humans have higher poison and curse resistance, can summon NPCs and players in addition to being summoned themselves, can invade or be invaded, and can kindle bonfires (which you will want to do). It may also increase your rare item drop rate, but I can't confirm this. The amount of Humanity you have, regardless to whether you're human or hollow, is proven to be related to your drop rate, though.

Yes, I started the game with 00 humanity and my drop rate was 100. Right now I have 09 humanity and my drop rate is 204.

Oh man I'm so excited for this game to get here. Which class is good for a beginner? I was thinking Wanderer.
Don't worry. Play for a couple of hours and it'll all make sense.

Wanderer is an all around good and balanced class. It's what I chose and it served me well.
