In America you got to jail for 2-3 years if you're found guilty of animal cruelty. I'm not sure if you kill an animal intentionally, but I'm positive you'd get time. These guys deserve to go to jail.

Yeah laws and videogames do not work together, there is a famous story about these 2 teenagers who loved wrestling and were playing with there sister where they tackled her a bit two hard and she fell and broke her neck, dying instantly, those kids got arrested for murder and sentenced for 10 years, motive, Smackdown Vs. Raw, a game they didn't even own. People blame teenage murders on videogames because instead of t.v. where they don't master techniques they just watch a scripted event, while in Videogames (especailly grand Theft auto) people will act evil in the videogame to finish the game but if they do evil in a game too much they're evil. It's really stupid to think that video games would make you want to shoot somebody though you're just pressing buttons is absurd. If parents are extremely worried about they're kids mind with videogames maybe they should look and the ESRB or PEGI or USK

My house has unlocked guns and has since i was about 9, not loaded but still, but yeah it really has to do with if your such a tool that you play with a rifle, think your cool, then end up shooting yourself.

Yeah, the freedom we have combined with influences (Movies, books, video games, the internet) can do wonders on our brains. It's not just video games, people being tortured in games isn't exactly an original idea *cough*saw*cough*

Also, this isn't exactly new either...shit like this happens in america all the time. Animal abuse until death isn't new... breaking, entering, and destroying isn't a new concept either. Though they should be punished more severely, other things happen that drawfs this. I'm sure there have been many more severe cases than this. I guess I'm just saying you guys are getting worked up over something that may seem different in light of another crime. I'm not sticking up for them, you guys have the right for your opinions and words, but it seems like this has become a vent thread towards every crime similar to this and any crime in general more than this specific crime.
