I also want to be a movie producer and my first movie would be a triller based on the novel called "Childhood's End". I want Christian Bale as Jan Rodricks, who is the last man on Earth, and the price paid by mankind in the final pages of the book.

I've thought of many fields.. Architecture, Engineering, Medicine, and Graphic/Web Design.
And as much as it kills me to say, Graphic/Web Design, the lower-paying job, is what I'm truly passionate about. But you can make a living off of it, and it's one of the most practical ways to put creativity in your work.

Well EA games is next to my house and I plan on starting up for college doing graphics maybe in the next week if all the classes aren't taken. Maybe next semester. After college I would like to get an intership with a graphic artist at EA games and trying to get my name in the company and with the team. I'm not 100% sure if the EA right next to my house is a game making one or just a game testing center but its pretty big. I want to be a graphic artist in the game field mostly.

To be honest, being a game tester probably wouldn't be a very good job. You would have to spend several hours a day playing a single game, and it might end up being a very crappy one or simply a game that shouldn't be played for over 1 hour. You'd have to do buttloads of paper-work on them and when you get home you aren't gonna want to play a game of Halo 3 or anything.

I don't think Game Tester would pay much though, i might be wrong but a lot of the time the developers test the game or they throw in a beta version of the multiplayer.

Well, yeah, but I also kinda meant being a reviewer. For websites like IGN and all that. It would be really boring if you playing a game you hate, and you usually have to beat the campaign (i.e. if you say "the game only gets interesting at the end"), plus play a considerable amount of time with the multiplayer... it would probably be better for someone who is an expert on games, but doesn't play a lot of them in their spare time.

Yea but you have to realize that most game testers have other jobs too to get their own place to stay at instead of living with their parents.
