Not to start anything, but why do we have a "Why did so and so get banned" thread? (I realize that I am about four years too late to comment, but still.)

Seriously, how difficult is it not to be a tool? Is it too much to ask that we all treat each other with some dignity and mutual respect?

If a friend of yours got banned, wouldn't you be curious why? I don't understand how that is being a tool.

I'm not certain if this is on topic, but why hasn't this guy been banned yet? He's stolen so many boxarts from other sites, eg this and countless others. Django Unchained for example. I'm sure that warrants a ban.

This is his second, if not third alternate account. All of his previous accounts have been banned. He has been on the site for like 3 years and he never listens to criticism. He hasn't gotten better since he joined, and just spams up the database with useless crap.

I'm pretty sure he's underage too.

Well his IP address doesn't match up with anyone and I don't think I'm going to ban someone for "not taking criticsm". Yes his boxes are poor and have a feeling he is trolling but I'm not going to make a decision just yet. I'll keep an eye out for anything offensive or obvious trolling. And again, I'm not going to ban someone because you're pretty sure he's underage.

I need a concrete definite reason before I ban someone.
