    Default Cessation

Well i decided to join in on this making boxes for our own games. This is a game concept that I have had for years.

Basically its present time and World War III occured. Pretty much every country with nukes used them, it was utter hell and the apocalypse. Leading up to World War III, the United Stats new tensions were high and started a program. They put all kinds of they're newest tech on a shuttle (weapons, nuclear reactors that could last for nearly unlimited time, cryo type chambers to allow auto freezing and thawing *as long as the nuclear power is still intact* and other things that i can't ruine *there is a SLIGHT chance this could come to life ).

Anyways they chose four people. 2 pilots, 1 marine, and 1 leading scientist. The launch goes succesful and they set the autopilot to a planet half way across the galaxy that was deemed highest possibilty to sustain life. After they are all frozen and let the computers take over........after many many (think 4 digits) of years pass they all awake, to find themselves in the orbit around earth. After this amount of time, earth has repaired itself and it is habitable once again.

Thats about all im going to tell, but the main gameplay concept is EPIC. Its literally you against the world. There are primitive humans there. Pretty much after World War III, there was small pockets of habital space and humans slugishly lived and faught on. But after many many generations all tech. and information of history was lost, so they had to start all over. Its like traveling back in time, but without time travel (slightly more beliveable). Anyways after you land they are not to happy with you and they think you are a "demon".

They all have bows and swords, while you have automatic weapons and most other weapons you would recognize today. So they have numbers but you have technology.

The game would be all in first person as you play. But cut scenes will be in thier perspective to show how much they fear you and just how deadly you are.

Well belive it or not but thats the basic concept of the game and here is a mock-up of the boxart.

Let me know what you think, about all of this. (flair is my made-up company)

All this thought into this game and only one reply.....i'm quite dissapointed.

Oh and if your wondering...."well how are they in orbit around earth when they set a course for a place halfway across the galaxy". I must say its a good quesiton but its pretty much the big twist towards the end of the game.

Please don't tell me Ric Flair is involved in this!!? lol

I think we all have our own dream game, but it may be too hard to actually show physically. I admire your loyalty to your own ideas, and your bravery to show them to others. The concept of the story is quite questionable, but I want ask any questions; I'll let you roll with it.

BTW, the box I made called, 'Forsaken Glory,' is my dream game; I'm currently drawing concept art for it. I'll eventually update the box with a much more compelling look and a better understanding of the character presented on the box. The story for my game is so complex, that sometimes I have to stop and back-track on how that or this came up to be.

P.S. - Did you really make that company logo, or did you just make the word 'Flair'?...

Nah, i had that logo logo from somewhere (it was like a huge wallpaper). But i did make the "Cessatoin" logo. Anyways, a couple paragraphs do not give this game justice. I have about 20 pages into a notebook filled in about this game, including some badly done concept art (weapons and characters). So please do ask questions because i would love answer.

I also have multiplayer gametypes worked out. A mission by missoin layout to the game.

I know exactly what you are talking about when you say "questionable", but what would you belive more this or....."i building a time maching type thing".
