    Default WIP: Crysis Boxart

Obvioulsy, it's a work in progress. BTW, this is my first ever box art, infact the first time I've ever used GIMP.

I'd just like to know what you think about it. And where I could get a Crytek studios and Crysis Logo? I don't know how to make my own, so I got to get these somewhere.

    Thanks

    Thank you

I'd make the logos myself, but I don't know how to make the outside tranparent.
If anyone here can do it, here's a picture of the Crytek studios logo. I just need it so that the gray is transparent.

If anyone could explain how, it would be much appreciated.

First, you gotta open up that pic in a transperent layer
(you may need to go under file "New" then make it transperent, or just delete the current layer. Then, use the magic wand, or the "select regions by color" tool (depending on what program you have) and select the envirnment. But be careful, don't delete anything that is part of the logo. You may need to erase some stuff the old fashioned way (eraser tool)
    Hope this helped.

Thanks a ton!! The picture I was using, had the same gray in the eniroment as in the logo, so I had to do it the "old fashioned way. Now I just need to find a hi-res Crysis Logo. The one treesquirel posted was too small Thanks anway man, I appreciate it.

This is retty fun, I hope the Box turns out the way I want to it.
