What box should I make next? Official Thread

qwerty, I'd like to see you take a shot at another style. It's a style I myself haven't tried yet, mainly because I already designed a bunch of ff boxes and wanted to vary the games I design for.

Anyway, it would be cool to see an old generation ff box from you with Yoshitaka Amano's artwork with a clean, but VERY unique feel to it. I really like his style and he's one of my most admired artists. You can check out some of his work here or in his official site.

We've got less than 2 weeks. Can any of you make nice box art in less than 2 weeks? Would love to have you on board! Not mockups... this is for a real game. I'm unsure of your definition of proper artwork, but we do have a company logo and game logo and hundreds of screnshots and of course the ability to make more. Our game has not yet been evaluated for ESRB rating so we can not put that logo on the box. We do not have a contract with Nvidia so we can not put that logo on the box either. We have a couple pieces of art that were made in Poser with the idea they could be used on the box, but they likely need some touchup work in Photoshop. If you really are interested please fill out our volunteer application online. http://www.visionsdev.com/adminforms...pplication.htm All team member go through the application process. Once accepted then access to our IRC and project management tools will be granted, and access to the game, so you can get all the screenshots you need.

If interested we do have occasional need for other 2D art tasks as well, the need for 2D art doesn't stop with Box art. Textures, GUIs, and web graphics are also needed periodically.

I thinik of the this idea alot and might take a shot at it, looks promising, although im not sure which game I will do..... *gasp* maybe Final Fantasy IX, although EG made an Amano styled box for it........ *pondering*
