Very bright and colorfull. Me likey. XD
But I suggest that you make the shadows under them more than an opaque black elipse. Maybe just brush under them keeping their shapes/sizes in mind? If this isn't too tedious, then it'd also be nice to see them with all one light source..
These things could make this already-great box even better, because a sense of atmosphere is always important, especially on a box with a cartoon background and no real "setting", so to speak.

Do you have any suggestions for the back? Do you think I should keep the same colour-theme as the front or go for something else?

Yeah, but try to incorporate all the main colors from the logo as well. I think that would make it pretty cool.

@Ninty: I suggest having a normal background from the game and then colorizing it to be orange, then overlay the current background you have and change the opacity until it looks right.

Hmm.. well if you choose to keep the same colour-scheme, use a different type of background and spice it up with different colours to keep it from being monochrome, but If you use a different main-colour, then accent it with yellow/orange, and make sure it looks harmonious with the front.

Obviously it's your decision of what colour-scheme to go with. Any colour can work as long as you put thought into it.

As far as concept suggestions, just be creative. Do something no one has done before.
Also, be careful with your typography. Try many fonts until you find the one that you (and your Collab partner) think looks the best.

Ah my dear, you must be a mind reader because I was actually thinking of doing something similar to that.
I'll try to keep the bright orange-y theme going.
