Disturbed is pretty much the only thing i listen to![]()
I did, but the only songs I listen to are Harvest (Vekta showed it me) and The Drapery Falls. Both are excellent, of course. I think I deleted the other songs because they were like 12 minutes long and taking too much space, lol
I was actually thinking of getting Watershed because it's in HMV's 2 for £10 section which is awesome. I think I'll get myself a little more into death metal first though
oh, and by the way
Head Up High - Firewind
There's actually no need to get into death metal to appreciate Opeth more. A common debate amongst Opeth fans is about the band's relation to death metal. Turns out the major consensus is that the only 'death metal' thing about Opeth is the vocals. Nothing more. You'd probably need to listen to more progressive rock/metal to appreciate them more. I strongly suggest Yes and King Crimson.
And get back The Leper Affinity and Dirge for November if you can, those are brilliant and beautiful songs.
well, that's just it, really, I hate death metal vocals. I understand everything else is 100% progressive metal, but it's just the vocals that take time to get used to.
