When I first saw the thread, I was like "oh sweet, this is gonna rock" but once I saw that screen, I just lost every ounce of hope that this could possibly be the true successor to Sonic Adventure 2.

EDIT: there's a possibility this could be the sequel to Sonic at the Secret Rings, but the graphics look like it's on 360/PS3. It's only been a day and it's already guaranteed to be terrible.

Well... ever since Sonic 06, Sonic has been going downhill, and personally, I tihkn that Sega needs to come up with something new (That isn't extremely cheesey) for a Sonic game. I know this game will be a disappointment.

If it's for Wii, then I probably won't even rent it, because, let me tell you, I rented Secret Rings, and it was one of the worst games I've ever played.

Sonic and the Secret Rings was just as bad as 06. Why can't they make a decent home console game, but they can make a fantastic handheld one?

This may be good, the graphics looks very nice. It may be a good comeback for sonic because his games have sucked since Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut.

I agree. Sonic Adventure 2 was an amazing game, best Sonic game ever IMO. The Sonic Advance trilogy and the Sonic Rush games were pretty good aswell. Don't count on this one being good at all. They said Sonic 06 was going to reinvent the series but it turned out to be the worst one yet.

Well, it kinda did reivent the series. :P

It's kind of ironic, Sonic Genesis was in honor of Sonic's 15th anniversary, and it sucked, and sonic 06 was in honor of Sonic 20th anniversary, or something like that, and it was horrible.

no, Sonic 06 was the 15th. Sonic is 17 years old. (he was made in 1991) I don't think Sonic Genesis was the official 15th anniversary, but it was terrible anyways. Sonic Adventure DX wasn't that bad. I know you were talking about that but SA2B came out after.
