Alriht, well, this is my first box art here. I don't have the template because Techne's thread is having some problems so if anyone has the .psd file for Techne's PS3 template, please post it here so that I can add it. Or, better yet, if I could get DMShaposv's template, that'd also be great.

(I'm also going to be making a back.)



Please tell me what you think and tell me what to fix, it's the only way I can improve.

Looks good so far, although it's hard to judge since it's just a image at the moment... especially as your image is in landscape, and the front of a PS3 box is in slight portrait... meaning you'll need to chop some sides off or add bits to top or bottom to slot into a PS3 template? because of that... questions are where you're gong to put the title logo, etc.

It just looks like a wallpaper right now, but a cool wallpaper, none-the-less.

So, here's the front. I'm not sure about the effect yet, I wanted to see what the community thought of it. I'm going to be starting on the back now.

Thanks for the support guys. The back is on the way and I just wanted to let you know that I moved it off of my template and onto Techne's PS3 template (I disliked my template).

Cool, I still think it could do with some work. It must be a bit annoying how some things are cut off on the back, I suggest repositioning that and the two screenshots that are right next to each other look weird. With the presentation, it would be nice if you flipped the reflection horizontally and aligned it with box.

So, what you're saying is that I should re-work the reflection and the screenshots? m'kay.

Well to be honest the back doesn't really fit the front IMO .

But other than that it looks very good!

I re-worked the reflection, screenshots and made a few other changes to the back.

'Tis very noice, but you also need to recolor the back to match the front, they clash too much.

Hmmm...definitely good. Very cool style to it.

A quick suggestion would be to change the font style to make it suit the game better - Copperplate Gothic is a nice font, but not the best choice for this game. The back reflection could also be closer to the back.

God, is LK like master of fonts or something? I've seen you recognize fonts from Copperplate Gothic, to Comic Sans, To Base 02, to even the ellusive Verdana, when everybody else thought it was like arial or something similar.

Not to mention the uber awesome Papyrus font. teehee

But, yeah...font choice IS a very important part of the box. Actually the most important factor around here, considering even higher level artists could spend more time deciding a good matching font choice.
