    Default DVD Comp: ROUND 1

    ************************************

    ROUND 1: STEVEN SPIELBERG

Steven Spielberg is perhaps one of the most legendary film makers of our time, jumping from classic to classic such as the Indiana Jones series, Jurassic Park and the smash hit Jaws, all of which have been loved by moviegoers everywhere! Your challenge? You need to create the DVD Cover for one of Steven Spielberg’s movies. It can be an old one, a newer one, or one that he’s making in the future, the choice is up to you.

Template: I would recommend taking a look at a couple of DVD Cases that you already have at home, and looking at how the template is set out, especially the back cover. Most DVDs are not particularly complicated on the rear, it’s usually just a table with various information such as Running Time, Aspect Ratio etc. You could scan the back of a DVD template and edit it to your liking, or ask someone very kindly if they have one already!

Title: ANY film Directed or Produced by Steven Spielberg
    Genre: Any
    2D/3D: Either
    Front/Full: Full

    ************************************

    NEW MATCHBOARD!

    Text Version:
    IceFox VS. Ninjamojo27

Well, you could either find a template or make your own.
As it's a DVD, it's only the bottom of the back cover that's important - the front doesn't have anything DVD-ish on it.

Good luck to all the competitiors!
Deadline is ONE WEEK from today! Wednesday 20th Feb at 11:59PM GMT

Uhhhh....I don't think I ever signed up for this.

If I need to stay in to not mess things up though, I will, but I have another comp on my hands plus school and other things so I probably won't have a lot of time and my box will probably be half assed.

Why Steven Spielberg? Why not a better director like Stanley Kubrick or James Cameron?

E.T., Indiana Jones Quadrilogy, Jurrasic Park, Back to the Future trilogy, Saving Private Ryan, Flags of our Fathers, Minority Report, Munich, Schindler's List, Jaws, and more.

You think the guy that made Titanic is better than that?

Yeah, sure, you can do the same box as other people - because you don't know what other people are going to do.
If you do make the same box as the person you're against, it only makes it easier to compare the quality of your boxes.

Sorry to both XxDunexX and IceFox for entering you into the competition. When you replied to the sign-up thread, I wasn't sure whether you wanted to compete or not. If you don't want to compete, PLEASE reply immediately to this topic and I'll try and find someone who wants to take your place.

He was the producer of Transformers, which was also great. Steven Spielberg, alongside Peter Jackson, is one of the best directors around. Besides, Titanic was overrated, it wasn't that great.

I left out Transformers for a reason.

it wasn't a bad movie... but if you left it out because he wasn't actually the director, then yeah. but put it this way, if he wasn't the producer, it would've most likely sucked/be another mediocre action flick due to Micheal Bay.
