Hmm... sounds cool, but Halo is probably going to get overdone when it should've just stopped at Halo 3. If we were getting prequels and interquels I wouldn't mind, but the series ended with Halo 3, and we don't need extra stuff happening afterwards, because that would just ruin the whole "finish the fight" thing. Gearbox is a good developer though, let's hope they do a good job.

he means the secret ending *ZoMGzh spoilers* where the Chief and Cortana are headed into a planet which looks like earth( my best guess is that it's a Forerunner Plant?) , no one knows what or how many years have passed on them, so yep it's another cliff hanger ending, just go to Youtube and search for "Halo 3 Legendary ending" to see it.

mmkay. i heard that theres a secred vid at the end of the game if you beat the last level on legendary with ALL the skulls on. it shows that he is on the planet.

Note: if you all dont remember, Gearbox actually developed/produced or whatever, halo 1.

This is just a rumour, there is actually no official press release yet.

Peter Jackson is making an interquel, Ensemble are making Halo Wars, as if we need another halo game? The storyline of the series isn't that good anyway, it's a basic Sci-Fi storyline, albiet with a few knacks they call their own. Besides, RTS games completely blow on consoles.

People were treated to three good games, surely that's enough.

Edit: cheezypoofs, Gearbox actually ported the game to PC.

I doubt we will see a Halo 4 from them soon. Rigth now Gearbox is making Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway and a Alien FPS.

and (its just a rumour,) but ive seen images, there might be a halo ds. yes, i think the halo franchise is excellent at the time. and there wont be another sequel or prequel for a while cuz its the most addicting game in the world right now.
