Unless you are a female leggy blonde... then I'll ignore the first quote! LOL
Yeah... Photoshop... CS2 -- haven't got round to upgrade to CS3 since I have it set up how I like it with all brushes, filters, colours settings, etc.
Logo wasn't that difficult to do.
basically...
1. Draw a real big yellow circle first, then a white circle in that, and so on for the 'base'. Then use Perspective to get correct 'perspective' and then free transform to shrink to correct size.
2. HOMER text -- Just type each letter on a different layer since you have to arrange them one behind the other. Blend with black stroke, yellow inner glow. Then duplicate it. Rasterize copy. Colour overlay copy grey. Put it underneath and slide downwards.
3. BENDER text -- Same as above, but write on same layer (reduce tracking on text so characters are tight against each other), and use the ARC text to bend it. Obviously, different colours.
4. Add the '&' and 'AT' which are normal text... similar to above.
5 OCTOBERFEST test -- Similar again to above, but use perspective to get the slight 3D-ness.
6. Merge all visible layers.. and then add the white stoke around it!
