Arghhh!! The burn why... Star89 why.... That flame is burning me arghh....

Anyways, I would expect a Blu-Ray add-on in about a year for the 360 if HD-DVD does get any worse e.g more companies going exclusive to Blu-Ray.

Uhm...this is a big deal, how? It's not like Microsoft is switching the primary format for the games from DVD to Blu-Ray, they are giving the player an option, like done with HD-DVD, for a cheaper Blu-Ray.

Either way, I probably won't bite, I'd rather use a dedicated Blu-Ray player.

Microsoft need to just keep away from the next-gen format wars because either way they are doing more harm than good. Saying that if Blu-Ray proves better than HD-DVD that they will switch sides is quite humorous..

I just wish that the gaming industry in general (Microsoft, Sony Computer Entertainment) would just stay away from this movie format war, it's doing way more harm than good. Nintendo luckily stayed out of it I just wish MS and Sony could have done the same..

And somewhere off in the distance, Peter Moore sheds a tear into his Crystal Light.

this wouldnt work... but mike rosopht will find a way.

how would current owners of a 360 get blu ray? send in ur 360 and get a new one? that would be stupid. newcomers would be simple. just buy the console. but would that probably raise the price wouldnt it? it would raise the graphics substantially, better picture quality, whatever the ps can do.

They would attatch a drive, cheaper than a dedicated blu-ray disc player, and use it to watch movies.

Just like they did with HD DVD.
