What Is Boxart Making To You?

I know I might get flamed about this, and the qualities of my boxarts, but still...
Boxarts to me are a hobby, first and foremost. I like doing them for fun, because it's a great challenge. I know some of you guys critize other people for not putting any effort into their boxart, but I think some people on this site have to realize what is actually crap, and what looks not to good, but they know what kind of effort it took. There are people who spend a week on a single boxart, which usually comes out amazing, but there are also people who might spend an hour making a boxart. I just wanted to know, what is boxart making to you guys? Is it just something for fun, or something you take seriously?

it depend what kind of mood i'm in. When i made my Ping Pong box, i was just doing it for fun. But other boxes like my Assassins Creed, or Alone in the Dark boxes i took much more seriously. But overall it's just something i do in my spare time.

well i think of it as a hobby and i take mine seriously. the reason i havent posted anything for a while is because im working on a halo 3 box.

anyway its not my life.
i actually box art making is something i do in my spare time otherwise im at skoo, playing soccer, yoyoing, or on my 360. its my second favorite hobby next to yoyoing.

I make boxarts when I am hyped for a game or have a good idea for a boxart.

i like to make box art because its fun and creative. plus time flies when your making box art
