I agree with you my friend. After finishing the first mission and getting access to the Detroit streets, i've done a side mission which was pretty intense. It's a testament to the game designers when my friends did the same mission and each took a different route and play style to complete the objectives. Brilliant.

What really blows me away is the art direction. This is one of the most atmospheric and immersive games i've played in awhile.

I know what you mean. And while on a technical level the graphics aren't breaking any new barriers, the lighting effects are simply splendid. They do much in favor of making the game as engrossing as it is.

By the way, how are you handling combat? For my first playthrough I'm attempting to go through each mission as stealthily as I'm allowed. This isn't a no-kill run though.

Been playing a lot of GTA IV lately. Hopefully within the next few days I'll be able to play Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

A mix of stealth and being lethal. So far i upgraded my optical augmentations so i can see through walls (very helpful btw) and hacking. I'm contemplating whether or not to get the cloak aug as it eats up a lot of energy. The only thing i don't like is that doing a non-lethal take down uses up a battery. -_-

Yeah that becomes an annoyance after a while. I'm attempting a pacifist run, hopefully won't make much mistakes. The bosses in the game don't leave you with much choice though, it's kill them or die. I think to myself that I've wasted a Praxis point on the cloak system because I never used it.

Apparently I am also really good with conversing, even without the speech augmentations, you just need to have common sense of what to say to people.

Right now I'm playing a hardcore run of Just Cause 2, it's actually not that hard. Haven't played this in a while and it's just as fun as I remember.
Thinking about starting up a new game of New Vegas and going for a "perfect" ending.

I'm also buying Mass Effect 2 for the PS3 soon, so I'll be playing that. Doesn't the Playstation version come with all of the addons except Arrival?

Do you have a 360, or a PC that is capable of playing ME? If you haven't played the first one I strongly suggest getting both on the 360 or PC (Or at least playing the first one first), before getting the second. As for the PS3 version of ME2, it includes the previously released downloadable content: Lair of the Shadow Broker, Project Overlord, Kasumi: Stolen Memory and the Blood Dragon Armor. The Zaeed and Firewalker content is also accessible through the Cerberus Network (Code in the game box). It does not come with the Arrival.

    ^_^

I've finished both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 thru Steam. I just want it for PS3, and I'll be getting Mass Effect 3 for PS3.

OH good haha. It would be a crime to skip the first game. ME2 for PS3 is supposed to be amazing. An updated engine is running it (Not the one being used in ME3), and it includes most of the DLC. Which reminds me, I still need to finish an insane playthrough of ME1 and 2 before March 6th :O

I wish I would have played the first ME was I had it. I played the first 10 minutes and then never touched it again.

The first ten minutes of that game are the worst ten minutes of that game. Get it again.

The first 10 minutes are probably the worst first 10 minutes in all of gaming. Well maybe not THAT bad, but it made me put down the game for almost 2 years without touching it. Then I though, why not and played a little more. Once you finish the tutorial level, it's incredible.

Why do you have to finish it? I only played the demo and concluded that it was the worst game I'd played in years.

I'm currently saving all my money up for something, but once I have some cash to spare I'm going to get it and ME2.

Resident Evil 5 on PC. Trying to re 1000G it. (once on xbox till I got add-ons). With low specs, it's proving insanely difficult to be honest. No mercy mode is hella fun though!

    Deus Ex: Human Revolution
This game just keeps getting better... and I love the upgrades.
