Saints Row: The Third. I've gotten so many achievements for this game and it's the closest to full completion I've ever gotten to. I've gotten 100% completion in the game, 950 gamerscore, and 47 achievements. I only need 3 more to complete the entire regular game. Plus, Genki Bowl VII comes out tomorrow which adds another 100 gamerscore and 10 achievements I'll be aiming for.

    I can't believe I bought a season pass, and my PS3 broke.

I see despite everyone's warnings you still got it for PS3.

I take it Bethesda hasn't fixed it yet? I haven't played it since I ran into a major quest breaking glitch.

I haven't played it in a long time but what I've been hearing hasn't been pretty.

Well, I just finished Skyward Sword, and I'm going back through my childhood and conquering the games that once conquered me, I've almost beaten Donkey Kong 64

Sonic Generations came in the mail by way of Gamefly recently. The classic Sonic stages are a lot of fun, but the modern Sonic ones are simply terrible by comparison. Not fun at all.

Bought and popped in Split/Second after playing the demo over and over and so far I've been disappointed. I've never been more frustrated with AI than that of Split/Second. The rubber-banding is absolutely ridiculous and ensures that the slightest mistake or any attempt to conquer the absurd drifting will land you a losing race. In the past 2 hours I have tried to land first place in one event and have ended up in second because the leader is impossible to catch up to; too far away to activate an explosion, too far away to ride his draft. All you can do is hope the AI decides to deactivate its flawless cornering. Makes me sad because the demo was so promising... -____-

The AI and difficulty in general in Split/Second is the absolute definition of unforgiving and, to a more accurate degree, unfair. It makes me wonder if this was the true reasoning behind the title, as you're always only a second or two ahead of the competition - be it AI opponents or simply time limits - when you reach the finish line. Most wins result purely from track memorization and a lot of luck.

Absolutely. What's more is that the online is completely dependent on your progress in single player. Having a top tier vehicle is a necessity as anything else will land you 40 seconds to a minute behind the competition. It's pretty unbelievable.

How far have you progressed so far? The problem is that even if you could memorize a track to the point of playing it with your eyes closed, all it takes for your opponents to win is to... get behind you, at which point their vehicle's speed will triple. Eventually, wins will depend entirely on whether or not the lead racer makes a mistake or not.

Not to demoralize you further. It can be a good game when it's not soul crushingly difficult, but that was my experience.

I just finished episode 2 to the best of my ability. Not too far along but I'm ready to be frustrated. I think I'll just shelve it for now and finish Alpha Protocol, which is fantastic.

Ah, Alpha Protocol. That's currently collecting dust with a slew of other games, in my backlog. I really want to like it, but the wonky AI and awkward dialog system are keeping me from doing so. I'll have to set some more time aside to play through it, because the story itself seems pretty interesting.

My only problem with the game is the literally hit-or-miss shooting and the awkward animation. Everything else I've really enjoyed, especially the dialogue. I've tried my best to make all the characters like me but I've had a few failures, which is cool. If I had played the game sooner it would have probably been my runner-up for game of the year in '09.

Edit: The VO is really great too.

Edit 2: Actually I'm not going to play Alpha Protocol because the Starhawk beta is calling my name. Seriously some of the best multiplayer I've played in a looong time. Second most anticipated game this year next to SSX.

Eergh, my hands are shaking. Almost finished the Boletaria Palace map on Demon's Souls. I think I may have actually exclaimed out loud when the red dragon swooped over the bridge.
