I finally got back into Dragon Age 2. Act 2 was great and so far Act 3 has started off with a nice little power struggle. TBH, i'm liking this game a bit more than Origins. While Origins dealt with the typical grand scale adventure to save the world from evil, DA2 is on a more personal level. I was actually shocked at a tragic event in Act 2. Great game though i wonder why Bioware called this a sequel instead of a side story. *shrugs*

If anyone has played it, how is the Old World Blues dlc for New Vegas?

Yayyy, see I told you it'd get better The end of Act II was pretty messed up all around, the least disturbing of which was the whole Chantry scene. The politics in Act III are interesting, but I still found II a much more enjoyable section all around.

And Old World Blues is AMAZING. I can't praise this add-on enough, it's easily the best out of all the Fallout add-ons to date (yes, that even includes Broken Steel.) The story is a bit lackluster, but the hilarious dialogue and overall wackiness of the whole thing brings back amazing memories of Fallout 1 & 2: if they had to pick a REAL sequel to them, this would be it. Exploration is also a key factor here; with 35 locations, it's probably the largest area yet (Point Lookout might be a tad bigger.) New enemies and weapons are awesome too, especially if you're an Energy Weapons/Unarmed guy. Overall, highly recommended - 9.5/10, I would suggest this above the other two addo-ons in a heartbeat.

All i needed to hear. Once i'm done with DA2 i'm going to fire up the 360 and get this along with Bastion. Thanks for the mini review, Pav.

Trust me, it will not disappoint. Just do me a favour and go through it REALLY slow---there's a lot of exploring to be done, and the stuff (won't post spoilers) you find will make those extra hours worth it

The Boost Ball Guardian resulted in several broken controllers during my experience. I kinda feel for you for the game being a little confusing, it requires more backtracking than Metroid Prime had needed.

Although Quadraxis is one of my favorite boss battles in any game.

I'm having a Kingdom Hearts marathon.

    Which means I'm replaying KH1 (again), KH:ReCom, KH2, KH:358/2, and KH:ReCoded. If only I had BBS.

I'm currently making my way through Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon on Hard mode. Playing solo against the Ant Queen and her minions is not fun... Now that I have a PS2 of my own, I can finally replay Final Fantasy X and try my hand at Final Fantasy XII and the Kingdom Hearts series. Nier and P3P are on hold for now.

@Yami: MP2 has some amazing boss battles, but yeah, the guardians (specifically Boost) can be a real pain.

Playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion again for the first time in three years. It's like meeting an old friend, need to hype myself up for Skyrim.

I finished up the Dragon Age 2: Legacy dlc yesterday and i must say that it was well worth the $10. Right up there with Lair of the Shadow Broker in terms of quality. The areas were well designed and the enemies were pretty tough. I liked how the Darkspawn were a lot more menacing than in the last game where they seemed like fodder. The final boss battle was probably one of the better end battles i've played in an rpg in a while. In terms of story it was well put together and gave some insights into the first Blight and the Hawke lineage. Overall i'd give it a solid 9.

Right now I'm trying to find some time to play VVVVV (I think that's enough Vs). I hope to at least put an hour or so in tonight.

Wouldn't you know, Final Fantasy XII is pretty awesome. Wasn't sure if I'd take a liking to the combat system, but so far I'm really enjoying it.
