Niceeee!!
Can't wait to see the full version!
Very nice.
Here are some suggestions for the typography (when you get to it) on the back:
- Try not to overlap any of the characters with text.
- Use larger font for the main subtitles, so it is more distinguished (Bold or stroked, if required).
- My font suggestions - Times new roman. But the eventual decision is upon you.
Front is looking excellent, so far.
Also, remember to use a minimum of three screenshot screens. Don't go for too many, or it would look cluttered, and might overlap too many of the characters.
Thanks for the fast replies! I'll do what DMS said. If a pro like him or a not-yet-a-pro but a-guy-who-makes-cool-boxes like ELCrazy says that it's looking good so far, i can't let this box suck!![]()
That looks so good. You pulled it off very good. Im excited to see the completed version!
UPDATED!
Darn, that back is hard to make good looking... Well i hope you tell me what's wrong and i'll change it. I did almost everything that DMS said and i'm pretty satisfied how the back looks.
Yes, the back does look good - but it can still be improved a bit, before you post it on the main site.
Suggestions:
- A very dark blue/black color for all of the text on the back without drop shadow would stand out more than that white text. Except the legal info text below (which is always white)
- A 1 px stoke border for the screenshot screens, preferably in dark blue/black color would make them (once again) stand out more than the background behind them.
- Nudge the subtitle down, from the top-edge a bit and add some space between it and the synopsis text. You can adjust the synopsis text size so that it remains in the same space. Use blue/black color for the subtitle too.
- Snippets next to the screens could be nudged a bit closer to the screens, towards the left.
- nudge the "NTSC/UC" on the front cover up a bit. Very slightly.
Best of luck.![]()

Looks pretty good to me.
I'd say one of your best. Just one thing, though: Before posting the box use default Imandix settings. The depth of field and self-shadow on the back cover is a bit too much - but I'm guessing its due to a change in Imandix's settings .
I only have the freeware version, so the default settings on that one are perfect.
