Another update with Spiderpig's ideas implemented. Much better, I'd say. Now... How to fill that empty space...

You know how the text is when making an Essence box? You should make it that style, it seems that it'd fit.

An actual Mass Effect collection would come out to about 6 discs total.

I like the looks of the back a lot better now with the new text placement. I feel like it could definitely use something else to the right though, screenshots maybe.

I love the back, it is fantastic. It's the screenshots in the logo on the front that make me cringe, especially the color and the position of the characters. We dont see all their face.

Thanks Abrao. The reason for the placement is simply because if I were to put the entire face of each character in frame, it would leave a bit of open space in the logo. I positioned them so that they would have as much of their face/body in the shot and make it still look decent.

Just as an aside (which I should mention) all of my boxes are created with a ratio of 3242x2164 @300 DPI. So, everything I use has to be high resolution and large. Enlarging some of the images pixelates them a bit, so I have to teeter in between big enough and not too big.

I can understand your distaste for the blue as well... It's a little darker than I would like, but I stupidly put that on an important existing layer at least five days ago, so I'd have to scrap that layer and try to replicate it again to change it.

I think you should apply a red and blue overlay on Shepard, Saren and the stars - about 30% opacity? The insignia isn't very clear.

I'm not a fan of the drop shadow behind each object on the front. I feel it would look cooler if they were indented (with an inner shadow or bevel of some sort). I also feel the colors are too pastel (on the front). I would like to see the grungier side of those colors, like the back portrays so nicely.

This. That's what I wanted to say.
