Default Batman Arkham City WiP - TheArchitect

    Hey guys!

After a long time, I have finally decided to make cover, and I need some help! I have created two versions so tell me which one to go with and also what good/bad about them both. Thanks for all the help!

The first is too much like the original, so I say the second.

Okay, what do I do to make the second one better, to finish it?

Add more going on behind it. Maybe incorporate a Joker or something somewhere.

How's this? I need some major ideas to make this eye-catching!

I didn't feel like adding Joker because I feel like he's on every Batman cover, and the cover being in B/W, it's already too similar to others.

The front looks good. The bat signal should be a little more visible imo. As for the back, the render of the girl is a little choppy looking. The Batman looks good.

It's pretty good but I don't get why Batman's bat is red.

I knew someone would ask that, it's red because I wanted to make the bat stand out. Plus, I'm thinking of incorporating some blood into this cover, so I think that would blend with the red bat, if you get what I mean.

Okay guys, I think I`ve finished the front, unless someone thinks I should add something. Any more ideas?

P.S. Can someone render HQ from this picture? Thanks in advance!

I think I have finished this cover (except the dev logos). Any comments?

I'd make the text white and put some borders around the screenshots.

2nd screenshot doesn't really fit the box imo.

I like the look of this, it's a very good concept.

Firstly, I'm not too keen on the composition of the characters on the cover, I think Robin needs to be moved left a little and I'm not sure about Cat Woman.

I would also change your red text over to red to white, that's always a no no in any form of media, I'd consider showing the top of Harle's head and moving the tag line right.

The transition from the red background and the image if Batman and the sky doesn't blend well. Depending on what you do here, you may want to adjust the alignment of the body of text.

I'd also add some kind of border to screenshots to separate them.

Finally, the logo on the front and spine, have you desaturated it? It is blending with the image on the front too much and doesn't stand out, you shouldn't really adjust a logo anyway. On the spine the logo is too close to the edge, I recommend making it smaller.
