THE COLOR COMPETITION

Hello, Ladies and Gents, and welcome to The Color Comp.! In this competition, you will team up with your fellow boxartists to compete to become the ultimate Box Art Team!

What?

Good question, the rules are simple. There will be three teams competing. Red Team, Blue Team, and Green Team. Each team will consist of 4 members. A total of 12 people may join this competition. Once all 12 slots are filled, your names will be randomized and put into one of the teams. The members in a team are subject to change afterwords, to keep it balanced. So now, to the fun part. Inside each team, the 4 members are split into 2 mini teams. Each mini team collaborates on a box. So, in the end, each team should have 2 boxes each, 1 from each of the 2 mini teams. Now, don't get confused, the 2 mini teams in each whole team are still on the same team, it's no competition for them, so all 4 can share ideas and such.

And the final, and most important rule...

EACH TEAM CAN ONLY MAKE BOXES THAT MAINLY CONSIST OF THEIR TEAM'S COLOR!

Here are some examples. A Red Team Box, Blue, and Green. Your boxes must mainly consist of that color, so you can add some dabs of other colors, just make sure people can identify it as your team. Once judging is completed, the top team is the winner!


When?

Now that sign-ups are finished, I have a date.

Judging?

Forgot this. Once every box is finished (There should be a total of 6) they must be sent to me. I will then post the first voting thread with all 8 boxes, members will then vote on each of the 8 individual boxes, and the total scores for each team will be added up and compared. Then the top 2 teams move on to round 2, and the same judging process goes on again, only for 4 boxes this time, and then the top team wins.
