Lightbulb [Shoul's Saturdays] Round VXIII of Invitational Goodness

    Shoul's Saturdays

After my days here, I travelled the world and discovered that my true calling (besides male prostitution) was to give people free stuff. The World wasn't really the World and I was never a male prostitute, but the meaning is still there and deep.

So, what is this, you cry?
This is a Steam Group in which a Saturday Giveaway is held every Saturday (believe it or not) and whoever enters has a chance to win a steam game. Sometimes, for special occassions (for example I just did a Summer Sale Giveaway) I'll giveaway extra games throughout a week. Sometimes I'll give out a pre-order code. It all depends.

For a better explanation, head over to the Steam Page and investigate 'til ya knickers pile up with stench as you've spend days investigating and your bowel has forcably excreted.

But, how does it work, you whine?
There is this cool giveaway site known as Steam Gifts which basically allows people to create giveaways and people get to enter them with a chance to win against everyone else. It's a random selector, and you choose what you enter. It has a points system, which automatically regenerate at a quick pace (just a measure to stop someone entering everything). All my giveaways are organized on the Steam Page (so Steam'll send you wonderful notifications when giveaways are going to end/start/explode etc.) but the giveaways themselves are entered at my page on Steam Gifts.

You probably just lie and give out air to us poor folk, you scream?
Currently, I have given away eleven whole delish games. These aren't just Poundland fests, though, as a member of the group, you have a chance to win games like Spec Ops: The Line right through to Quantum Conundrum. The game is pretty much random and down to what I think should be given away. It is also kept to "good" games (both indie and AAA). More info on the games going here.
This Week's Giveaway (in which the selected members shall be able to enter) is the Darkness 2.
As an extra bit of added fun, the next weeks game is also up as a riddle every Sunday, with clues coming each day right up to the weekly chat event.
As you might see at that event page, some members may also give back and create giveaways of their own

I'm interested, LET ME IN GODDAMNIT:
Around 32 people from both here and Steam Gifts will gain entry into the currently 43 strong group. It's a relaxed and lovely place that is best suited to:

    1. People who own Steam and use it frequently
    2. People who like people
    3. People who are capable of worshipping the great Bill (the groups dog. Oh and he created the world and stuff.)
    4. People who play the games they win
    5. People who are typically awesome

If you fit into these categories, well done! You are acceptable!

Now, since you are already "acceptable" you need to get accepted! How in the fifty-seven heavens are you supposed to do that?

Well, it is simple, really - just post a comment below with your Steam ID/Community URL, I'll have a quick scan of your profile to make sure everything is dandy and if you are one of the lucky 12 (of VGBA) you'll be invited by the following Wednesday (the 25th).

And as a sidenote, entry requires that you have a Steam Gifts account. To do that, you just head over to the site and sign in with Steam. The site also requires you to have a certain amount of games on your steam list (so you are a legit steam customer) and therefore entry to the group also requires this

You are indeed a part of it I invited a lot of my old friends from here, but here is an explanation in case you've been wondering what the hell it is all about

You need to check the page and enter the Quantum Conundrum Season Pass giveaway, you fool! (and Binary Domain & Saints Row 3)
