The official Unreal Tournament 3 box, i personally dislike all the white. I was expecting something more like the Gears of War box.

Agreed. It's definitely good.

I think people just say official boxes suck because it's the thing to do, for whatever reason. Yes, some are crappy, but that's pretty rare.

I actually really like it. The white could've been replaced by maybe a landscape from the game or something, but I like the way the 3 marks come down the middle, it's a cool way of presenting it.

The logo looks like plastic. For the target audience of the game, I'd make it grungier. Same with the white. It's nice towards the bottom but the top area, it's just pure white. It doesn't make me want to buy the game. I think some sort of grundge or something would fit with the game better.

The bottom aspect of the III is also not aligned correctly with the top...

I like it. The simplicity and color scheme is great and I love how this used the III in the box for Unreal Tournament III. Nice, in my opinion.

Its not terrible - honestly you guys are being too harsh.

My only gripe is that they should've added some "edge" or some landscape or something that would've made it easier to tell the difference between the flat plane and the perpendicular one to it.

Also, Ratchet is right, the "unreal" looks plasticky - where as in the trailers and other media it looks more metallic.

guys i'm not being harsh or anything, and i'm not saying anything about effort because they put more effort into their work. i just don't like this because of all the whiteness, i think it really kills it. although the red lines really look cool though. it probably would've been better if that white was black instead.
