Thread: Morrowind WIP

    Default Morrowind WIP

This is my Morrowind box and I soon plan on adding a logo to it as well as the back. Any criticism is welcome. Thanks for viewing.

I agree with UF, it's more of a screenshot than it is a box. What exactly are you trying to pull off here?

Well I actually blended in two different pictures.

I was just trying to showcase the beauty of Morrowind. Anyway, here is the updated version:

The blending isn't really working, it's two totally different scenes a village and a marshland.

Are you creating a screenshot? Wallpaper or Box Art? We can't critique it properly if we don't even know what type of media it is.

It's actually a box art, and I have added a logo to make it look more like so. But I cannot decide on how to frame it while blending it in with the box. I have created two examples to show my progress but it seems to me that the first one is a little unclear. I hope you guys can give better criticism.

I'd look for a higher quality logo if I were you.

Currently it looks more like a wallpaper. I recommend downloading a template from the resources section of the website so that you get a better feel for the dimensions you can work with. That tends to be the first place people start so they don't have to change their designs later when adding one.

May I also say that it's not a good idea to change the logo for a game as well, the logo is the logo.

Maybe you can try a horizontal box, like aelixus' boxes? Right now it still looks like a screenshot. And definitely find a higer quality logo.

Yes, I agree, we must find a more oblong one!
