    Default Adobe Photoshop CS6 help?

Okay so recently I got CS6, which I am only familiar with few things (such as the pen tool, cropping, things like that) but I want to move into this program instead of using Paint.NET, since Photoshop is obviously better. Can anyone maybe link me to other threads or give me some help and tips on here? Thanks guys.

Everything I've learnt is a mix of self teaching, experimentation, common sense, YouTube and tutorial sites in general. Learning the basics is the best thing to do, then apply those to your designs. Quite often, just having the base skills learning how each tool and filter works will allow you to search for what effect or outcome you're after.

I'll take advantage of this topic: what's the difference between CS5 and CS6?

According to Adobe, new features include:
    - On-canvas 3D controls
    - Reflections and draggable shadows
    - Easy alignment and distribution of 3D objects
    - 3D performance boost
    - Enhanced 3D animation
    - 3D stereo viewing and printing
    - Adobe Flash 3D export

Most of the stuff they included had 3D with it, but they do have a little enhanced filters and tool properties and things like that.

For my unlucky, my video card does not support 3D stuff

From what I can tell there's a significant improvement in general performance. Especially with the new graphics engine they're using.

I recently got CS6 myself and can second this comment. CS6 runs much smoother and faster than CS5 on my system.

I agree. I had CS2 (but I never used it for VGBoxart) but this works way better and I am more comfortable with it.
