It's a shame kids nowadays will probably never appreciate the awesomeness of Transformers G1. I grew up watching that on video tape, and honestly believe it is the best version of Transformers.

You do realise accusing Michael Bay of f'ing up the Transformers sequels is extremely wrong, right? It's not his fault. It's Ehren Kruger, the writer of the previous 2 movies. Look at what he did to Scream 3. Bay just directs. He directs from the script. Kruger wrote the script. Hence: Kruger's fault.

I guess you don't know how Hollywood works. A director (and/or producer) has full control over the entire production of the movie including the script. The writer is basically just a peon. They're even forced to change stuff based upon what the director and/or producer (even actor) wants. Trust me, it's Michael Bay's fault.

Yeah thats wrong. Look at Alien Resurrection, written by the great Joss Whedon so you would assume it would be awesome right? Wrong. The director changed so much from his script (according to Joss) and pretty much made it his own. Script writers pretty much are there just give the director some image of what the movie COULD be haha
