    Default E3 2012: Nintendo 3DS Conference - 6th June, 6-7pm PST

Feel free to lock until then. Nintendo is packing the heat!

Looks like Nintendo might need three conferences to handle everything they are dishing out.

Nintendo 3DS will be the focus of an upcoming E3 presentation on Wednesday, June 6.

The presentation will be hosted by Scott Moffitt, the Nintendo of America Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and will focus exclusively on 3DS software. The presentation itself is taking place at 6-7 p.m. PT/9-10 p.m. ET at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and is going to be live-streamed by Nintendo.

Although 3DS wasn't totally discounted from Nintendo's E3 presentation tomorrow, this new development suggests that Wii U will likely be taking the entirety of the spotlight.

NOTE: This was the previously titled "Software Showcase", but it looks like it has been shifted into an all out 3DS specific conference.

Seems quite interesting that Nintendo will be having 2 separate showcases. Will lock this until then.

BTW, for some reason it was mentioned in the conference, but Fire Emblem is coming to the states.
Why didn't they mention it? Because...

Strange, that's about the only good thing to come from today regarding 3DS news.

Christ, Nintendo. You had good news about a game that isn't related to Mario, and you felt it better to not tell anyone about it during any one of your three presentations?

In any case, I'm glad Awakening is coming.

lol it also turns out that it wasn't until after telling Totillo about the game coming over to America did Reggie realize that it was a part of the press kit. Nintendo was just a mess this year.

Lords of Shadow -- Mirror of Fate, along with Fire Emblem: Awakening are the only games that have interested me. It's still not enough to warrant a purchase of a 3DS for myself.

I was very skeptical with Castlevania, since it was first presented as basically God of War 2D, though the Metroidvania gameplay is a very welcome design choice.

Sticker Star looks decent, the battle screen reminds me of Super Mario RPG for the SNES.

Fire Emblem will be fantastic because it's Fire Emblem.

Still not enough reason to put down the cash for a 3DS just yet, though.
