I liked Sony's conference best so far. I just wish that they didn't spend so much time on that book thing.

I haven't seen EA's conference yet, but Sony and Ubisoft had some pretty good appearances. Beyond looks like it could be really cool, and The Last of Us gameplay was awesome. I love how gory it is, plus the teamwork between Ellie and Joel looks like it could be a great combo.

The Last of Us to me seemed like what I Am Alive should have been. Hopefully it's not so scripted, like a lot of that demo seemed to be.

    Just what I was thinking.

b.t.w. I've heard you've got choices in the levels how to approach the combat; stealthy or the more direct assualt.

or you might switch between them?

It felt very scripted, they needed to show a few possible outcomes.

I imagine it was heavily scripted for the sake of the presentation. At least, I hope so.

In an interview with G4, one of the Naughty Dog developers said that most of the things shown weren't scripted.

For example: When Ellie threw a brick, it was because Joel had ran out of ammo and the guy was moving in to attack. When she sees he's out, and knows that someone is moving in, she'll look for things in the environment and help Joel out of distract the attacker. Had he not been out of ammo, the guy would have stayed behind cover.
