I need some advice again on where to go with my second boxart.
I plan to make this one printable as well, is there anything I should know in order to do that?
Thanks.

Pretty nice, I'd put a description for the game beneath the tagline on the back, and perhaps put this on a 3D template.
Here's a link if you can't find one-http://vgboxart.com/resource/1930/pl...on-3-template/
I added a description, and made some general edits to the front and back to make it less dark and more bright and vivid. (Ironically considering the direction of this game, but the island is still colorful)

Try to make a clipping mask above the logo showing Lara Croft or something else, because I personally feel that space is plain, that there should be something...
I rearranged the entire front cover. The ax is beneath the title now.

I prefer the previous front. It was very unique.
This, it'd be even better in a 3D template. Here's a link if you can't find one, just remember to credit the creator when you've used it.
If you want, I could 3D it for you just to see what it would look like![]()
I was thinking about you coming back to the first version of the front, but place Lara Croft's artwork in the center, behind the centered logo, and doing the "paint stroke" as you did with the logo
Like this?

I had created this one earlier, but didn't like the look of it and came up with the one above.
About the logo, I have a file with the original in different color schemes, so I can just copy and paste.![]()

Looks better without the character on the front.
With the front plain and characterless, it doesn't cry "Tomb Raider!" at me, it could be anything. It's not a bad composition but Lara needs to be in there somehow and more than just a generic render as you used above.
My two cents.
IN MY OPNION it looks better with Lara Croft just like you did, yeah it's like what you did but I would take off the black brushes in the left corner and do a black stroke, similar to what you did with the logo, just to see if it gets better.
And remain the red color in "TOMB", it looks better like that
I've taken all of your suggestions into account along with my own tastes, and composed two versions of the front cover.
Which one do you think looks better? Version 1 or 2?
I personally like the second one best.
I like version 1, but the object in the bottom right corner doesn't fit in.
I see you're from TRF, trlestew.
I really like version 1. But in my opinion, that render of Lara doesn't blend in well with everything as a whole. Perhaps adapt the colours a bit (maybe a bit bluish or greyish)? Or perhaps use a render that isn't so generic? And I think the black brush behind the logo is alright, but a bit messy.
Other than that, I love the colours of the background and the climbing axe is a nice touch. It really fits the game. In version 2, all elements don't really blend well. So nice job so far.
I'd maybe try this render mixed with this one.
You might want to find better sizes but combining those two should give a nice clean render. I'd then use that with version one instead of the render you currently have.
Experiment with the blending a little and it should come out looking nice in my opinion.
I cleaned up the logo and removed Lara entirely. Both renders sort of looked out of place.
