Default Official LEGO Lord of the Rings Box Art

To avoid any issues, I'll just post the link rather than the picture.

It's Lord of the Rings. The LEGO game they should have made since the first one. :P

If that was in response to me, I'm just surprised that they can put these out on such a quick, consistent basis without degrading in quality (reception is usually positive).

The cover's not bad, though. Would have been nice to see a LEGO recreation of the Fellowship poster.

That's true. The only one I remember not getting positive reception is Indiana Jones 2. I've been playing that and it's not that bad, actually.

I don't think I've actually been excited for a Lego game until now. I can't wait.

To be fair you can make a boxart for it. It just has to be custom art.

They do in Lego Batman 2 as well, and if you ask me, it just isn't the same.

This and LEGO Batman 2 are the first LEGO games to use voice acting. I don't particularly like it, but I'll reserve judgment until I play it.

The way I see it, having the game use voices, and the ones straight from the movie at that, is really lame.
Instead of silent film-esque humor driven cutscenes, we have an animated, cartoon, playdoe version of the movie.
    Wow.

The silent humor made the games pretty unique and fun to play. We'll just have to see how this turns out, I'm quite skeptical that's for sure.

First in this style. There were a few based of original LEGO sets with VA's. LEGO Island is one. I know that cause I have/had the game.
