High Quality Presentations of Boxes... and some other stuff

Hey guys, this may seem a childish question to regulars, but everytime I make a box, I never am able to locate any renders that equal the size of the templates that are provided in the Resources. How do you find renders that fit these large templates without having to reduce the quality by increasing/decreasing the size? How do you do so for backgrounds as well? This may be correlated with the fact that I use Paint.Net, but I cannot help it because I am not very familiar with Photoshop, I wish I were.

Also, I have trouble creating backs of boxes, as well as making presentations for them. Any help with that?

I'm sorry for all the questions, this has been slightly frustrating for me, and I wish to improve with my box quality.

I usually use a mixture of high quality wallpapers related to the game/movie to make my background.
