    Default Adobe Flash Player Issues

OK. So Flash Player has gone and uninstalled itself from my Laptop. But is still on my browsers. I have attempted to redownload but it only reinstalls on my current browser. So as of now. The Flash players I have are unusable unless I use Firefox. Any ideas how I can get Flash back so I can carry on using it via desktop and NOT Firefox?

I get a message saying "flash.ocx is no longer insatlled on this version of Windows."

Uninstall your browser, then install Flash.

It instantly installs after downloading. And the file is called Flash Extension so it would only crash anyway :s

When you're downloading files, is the download checkbox ticked to "open file"?

No. I've even checked the destination file and nothing is there. Someone suggested that I download Flash (the software) but I'm not sure if that will work.

And I've ran AVG, and I'm clean. So I have no idea what the issue is.

Try to find the directory of Adobe, find the Flash folder, and completely delete it. Make sure you've uninstalled your browsers and any trace of Flash on your computer. Then try to open the installer as administrator and see if it works. After that, that's all I've got. Make sure you're trying to install the correct version, (x86, x64).

Can't get rid of all browsers. That would leave me with IE and mine is broken. It never loads, and always crashes cause mine is VERY outdated.

But I have uninstalled Chrome, the Firefox add on, deleted the Flash files, uninstalled it all, and ran as Admin too.
