Leon just doesn't look like the androgynous Leon we all know and love. And damn is Milla getting old. But I'll go see it anyway, I'm interested to see how this turns out. Because one part of me's like "It's nothing like the games! Don't go see it!", but at the same time, "Bitch you see them posters?!". But RE1's my favorite, it actually feels like Resident Evil, not Matrix starring Zombies.
Edit: Is that Ghost Rider up there?

First clip of the movie. I guess the audio isn't mixed yet.

How incredibly silly it gets when their voices and punches are inaudioable.

Exactly. I don't get what's up with the audio and why they would release it unfinished.

That fight scene was horribly choreographed. It seemed like something that came out of a straight to dvd movie. The directing was really bad as well.

It may still be an incomplete edit. Maybe it'll be different in the actual scene

    Yes, I concur I suppose....

Honestly these fight scenes aren't really over the top anymore considering the games are doing the exact same thing. I think the scene isn't completely done being edited yet so I'll give it some time.

The first Resident Evil was a great movie and a the best RE movie they have made. The atmosphere was spot on to the game, the dialog was a little campy but so was the sames, the whole situation/plot was pretty much the first RE game and there were some actually jump moments.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse was where they started to go wrong. Adhering to much to the game the movie ended up being rather campy and just look wise looked like a straight to DVD movie. Though I blame the director (who WASN'T Paul) it felt like a cheap adaptation of RE:Nemesis (which it was) if handled by Paul and and made some minor changes it could have been better.

Resident Evil: Extinction was dryer then the setting of the movie. While the plot was rather boring and FILLED with plot holes (like where the hell is Jill and Angie) the action was pretty good and the casting of Claire I thought was spot on. Personally, I thought this was the worst movie in the series and the one I always skip.

Resident Evil: Afterlife is always my go to RE movie when I'm in the mode to watch them. This movie, being directed by Paul again finally, is probably my favorite. To me, it took a lot of the cool stuff from recent games and made it work. The only problem is that it didn't explain anything. Apparently, more stuff was scripted then what was shot and thats why there seems to be inconstancy. The action and everything got a little to extreme but again, so is the action in the games so to me it wasnt over the top or "crappy".

These movies have a rather large fan base. And they really aren't as horrible as people say but they have flaws of course. No movie is without them. But you gotta realize, these movies don't pretend to be anything then what they are, mindless, fun, zombie killing fun.. JUST LIKE THE GAMES. I mean Hell, Capcom must like the movies a little, I mean if you follow the games you'll see that now they are more action orientated and even the plot of the games are starting to parallel the movies (tons of viral outbreaks everywhere with "No Hope Left") I mean I can honestly say that as a HUGE fan of the games I am actually pleased with these movies. Sure, I'd like a movie straight up based on the games but i'd makes complaints on anything they changed that wasn't necessary (like stupid George A Romero's script). With these movies since they are based on elements from the game I have no nit picking really. They are set in an alternate universe and that works for the movies.

From what i've seen of Retribution I like. The only think about the clip I didn't like was Jill's jump in the beginning but other then that it didn't look bad at ALL. I'm willing to reserve my judgement after the movie though. But i'm sure i'm going to love it regardless.

That's an insult to 70's action movies and you know it.

The fight scene is scrambled guys. Meaning: Beginning, Middle and End are mixed together. Hence why the action is all over the place and there's no audio.
    Signatures are lame.
Hence why I don't have one.
    Because I'm awesome.

The problem is what's in the scene, not the order in which it takes place.

When I watch that clip I really don't see how "terrible" it is. At all.

They look like they are sticks shooting at each other. The choreography is abysmal and it looks like it was put together by a high school drama club.
